Just 2 days ago, it felt like spring was on it's way....and now it's back to rainy, cold miserable winter! BOooo
Do they do the whole groundhog day celebration in France or Monaco? Hmm, they must not....but I can assure you that Punxsutawney Phil would have seen his shadow and quickly retreated back into his burrow for 6 more weeks of winter. But if that was the case, and he saw his shadow on Feb 2, that would put the beginning of spring in just a week and a half: March 16! Wow, that's right around the corner.
So in the meantime I will be dreaming of:
-Lounging on the beach, drinking bottle after bottle of Rose wine
-Late night dinner parties with friends al fresco
-Gorgeous morning runs on the path next to the water in Cap d'Ail
-Leaving the patio doors open to let in the fresh air all day and all night
-Sipping delicious Rose, while dining al fresco (o did I already mention that?)
-Beautiful afternoon hikes in and around Monaco with stunning views
Bonjour, I'm an American Expat living in Monaco here to share my stories, experiences, trials and tribulations but mostly just to have fun. Here you will find anything from food, wine, travel, dogs, fashion, gossip and more....enjoy!

Weekend in Review
Ah, Monday is here again and another weekend has FLOWN by!
Here's a review of the weekend --
Friday: Went into Nice to do some decor shopping and ended up being invited on someone's boat in the Port of Nice for dinner. It turned out to be a great evening with friends, and dinner was wonderful!
Saturday: I offered to help set up our church picnic, so we drove to the amazing house to get things organized. We were pleasantly surprised that basically everything was set up, all we needed to do was add some chairs to the area we wanted to hold the service. Since the set up was so quick, we took advantage of the mountain air and went for a quick hike. The rest of the afternoon we spent just taking care of errands (grocery, cleaning, etc).
Sunday: Church picnic was today, and it went very smoothly. Everyone seemed to have a nice time and the weather was absolutely perfect.
All-in-all, it was the perfect weekend (minus the fact that it was too short)!
PS. Munich countdown: 10 days!!
